Private acupuncture takes place in a small private room on a massage table. This gives your acupuncturist the opportunity to access the back or the front. Other modalities may also be used such as cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion and acupressure. Your practitioner may recommend that you come in for a private treatment in certain cases.

Community Acupuncture

Affordable individualized acupuncture treatments in a relaxed group setting. Community Acupuncture takes place in recliner chairs in a large room. Cupping

Cupping is an ancient technique found in many cultures all over the world to remove blockage in the body. Special glass cups are placed on the body using heat to create a strong suction. Sometimes they are placed in one spot and not moved. Other times lotion is used and they are moved back and forth along the body. Our glass cups can be easily washed and sanitized after each use.

Jennifer Gwin, L.Ac., MSOM, is certified in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. She has almost 20 years of experience as a licensed acupuncturist.

Jennifer attended the University of Michigan and the University of Washington for undergraduate study before receiving her master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. She augmented her understanding of oriental medicine through additional studies in both China and Cuba.

Jennifer has dedicated most of her life to studying various movement arts including ballet / modern dance, yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Aikido. She also performed professionally for many years and is now a certified yoga instructor. This unique blend of experience enables her to assist her patients in developing a deeper sense of relationship between physical and spiritual well-being.

Doctor Diane Otness is a Physical Therapist, Reiki Master, and Certified Body Talk Practitioner. While working as a physical therapist for 15 years, Dr. Otness has observed the impact that emotions, ideas, beliefs, societal pressures and social factors have on the healing process, resulting in varying results for patients with similar illnesses, injuries and disease processes.

While navigating her personal healing journey through trauma, loss, injury and illness, she found hope, healing, and connection through holistic healing.
